Ajman Public Transport Corporation has organized an entertainment trip for taxi drivers, including a visit to cinema to watch the latest Hindi films and providing fast food.

Mr. Omar Mohammed Lootah, Executive Director of the Operations Sector at APTC, stressed the importance of ongoing contact with taxi drivers through various channels to evaluate them, increase the levels of performance and promote the spirit of positive competition to improve services provided for passengers.

Such trips enhance loyalty, encourage drivers to work hard and improve their performance, he said.

At the end of the trip, APTC honored drivers and offered them in-kind gifts with a view to changing the routine of work, determining the most important obstacles facing them, and finding solutions to overcome difficulties in order achieve the strategic agenda of Ajman Transport.

The drivers expressed gratitude for this trip which enabled them to break the routine and express some challenges they face in their work and questions raised by passengers.
