Overview of Partnerships

The Ajman Transport Authority, and Government of Ajman, prioritizes establishing strategic partnerships with various federal and local entities, this commitment is rooted in the belief that these partnerships are essential for achieving sustainable development, improving the work environment, and facilitating the exchange of information, expertise, and resources. Managing collaborative work relationships between the two parties is a strategic priority, guided by the directives of high command and in alignment with their vision to ensure client and employee satisfaction. This is achieved by providing fast and distinguished services through sustaining partnerships, which involve establishing and contracting partnerships to achieve mutual goals. This ensures the provision of new levels of added value with its partners and contributes to achieving the vision and strategy of the emirate.

Standards for Selecting Partners

These standards aim to provide a framework through which the authority selects partners based on current and future potential programs and initiatives that serve the interests of the authority, its partners, and stakeholders.


Partners are selected if the partnership offers the potential to meet any of the following criteria:

  • Contributing towards achieving strategic objectives.
  • Contributing to achieving performance indicators for the authority and the national agenda.
  • Enhancing operational performance, streamlining procedures, and developing provided services.
  • Utilizing the capabilities of partners and integrating them synergistically with the Authority's capabilities.
  • Alliance with local or federal government.
  • Contributing to achieving required environmental performance through collaborative work, knowledge exchange, and best practices.
  • Supporting innovation and creativity.
  • Contributing to marketing the authority's services.
  • Achieving mutual benefits, exchanging knowledge and institutional expertise, and ensuring sustainability.


Criteria for selecting private sector partners involve selecting partners if the partnership meets one of the following criteria:

  • Services that cannot be provided by government entities.
  • Services that offer tangible or intangible unique advantages for the authority's clients and employees.
  • The private partner can deliver services more effectively than the authority or government entities.
  • No legal, professional, ethical, or financial obligations or conditions that prevent such collaboration.
