The Transport Authority ensures its commitment to achieve its’ vision of Intergraded and sustainable transportation for a better future, by achieving its’ mission to Develop a secure, integrated,and sustainable transportation system that enhance the quality of life by providing the community with transportation services to contribute to building competitive investment partnerships.

In line with the best international practices in management systems, the authority has prepared an "Environment, Health and Safety Policy" that includes a commitment to implementing the best practices which includes their commitments as follows:

• Implementing environmental, health and safety management systems in accordance with ISO 14001 and 45001, and continuously improving the efficiency and effectiveness of these systems.
• Adopting objectives and targets to improve performance of environment, health, and safety systems, implementing programs that ensure the achievement of those goals, measuring and monitoring its activities and the progress towards its objectives, and periodically reviewing them for continuous improvement.
• Commitment to excellence in providing high-quality services to its customers and meeting their needs to develop a distinguished relationship with them.
• Providing all the necessary resources to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the implemented systems and striving to motivate, involve and train its employees to achieve the goals and programs intended by these systems.
• Compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to environment, health,and safety regulations.
• Preventing and limiting injuries, diseases, environmental pollution, environment protection,and all health and safety risks associated with the Authority’s activities and services through the hierarchy of controls.
• Publish this policy and involve all concerned parties with its activities and services by informing them of this policy and allowing the opportunity to providetheir suggestions about it on an ongoing basis.
• Reviewing this policy annually to ensure its suitability and effectiveness.

The transport authority and its’ employees believe that abiding by this policy and objectives comes from, the implementation of the Environment, health,and safety management systems ISO14001:2015 and 45001:2018, the continuousimprovement to ensure its effectiveness, and periodic revision of the system according to the approved process.
