Bus On Demand
A service launched by the Transport Authority in a number of vital areas within the Emirate of Ajman; where minibuses were operated to work on demand with a view to meet the needs of residents and visitors of the Emirate and to encourage the use of public transportation in smart ways using the Ajman BOD application, which is an easy-to-use application, as the customer can download the application from the following links or by scanning the barcode shown below:

Ajman BOD Features
It works on reducing the distance and waiting time for the customer for public transportation, as it links areas of the Emirate with public buses, and the bus route is determined by artificial intelligence instantaneously based on service requests and road conditions, which contributes to easing traffic congestion as well as the trip time. The location and destination to be specified by the customer through the smart application, and thus the application specifies the nearest bus to meet the request, and the customer is directed to the nearest virtual position, thus contributing to achieving integration between mass transportation services in the first and last mile.
The smart application also allows smartly paying transportation tariffs via the smart application using credit cards or a Massar card. Notifications may also be activated to alert the customer about the arrival of the private bus to his service and the driver's data.
The service is currently available in the areas shown in the picture below from six AM till eleven PM
The transportation tariff is AED 7 per person; and in the event that the customer is desirous to request the service for more than one passenger, AED 4 are charged for the additional passengers, with a maximum of 4 passengers.
